About Us

Khalid Loda

Coach Khalid fell in love with basketball at age nine while attending the 1988 AfroBasket (FIBA African Championship) while living in Luanda, Angola.  He played his collegiate career in the United States and graduated from Minot State University, ND.  

He then went on to play professionally and was fortunate to represent his native Morocco in international competition.  Coach Khalid has been training and developing players across the province since 2010, and has been privileged seeing so many of his athletes earn scholarships to continue playing the game they love at the post secondary level in Canada and the US.

Emmanuel Jones

Coach Emmanuel (or Manny) was trained by coach Khalid when he was a senior in high school.  Within one year of training, Emmanuel received offers from Minot State University and the University of Regina.  

Coach Emmanuel signed with the Regina cougars in 2011, and in 2012 transferred to Lakeland College, where he had a stellar career. Coach Manny has been a full time coach at Elite Basketball since 2016.
